Hockey

Teams of all ages and levels call the Community Centre home. Registration is the beginning of September. The 3 on 3 Hockey League runs from the middle of September to the end of October. The ice is available to rent from mid September to the end of October.

Figure Skating

The Turtleford Skating Club is a member of Skate Canada and offers lessons at both the CanSkate and STAR Skate levels. Club members are very active, competing in Fun Days, Regional and Provincial competitions, Test Days, and the club’s annual Carnival presentation for the community. Registration is held each September.

Baseball/Softball

Ball teams of all ages are active during the spring months. Three ball diamonds are located at the
Turtleford Lions Park
. Registration is usually held in April. The Mervin Flyers are in the North Saskatchewan River Baseball League.

Mervin and District Golf Course

The Mervin and District Golf Course located approximately 8 km south of Turtleford, opened in 1965,  golf course features professionally manicured grass greens and scenic fairways. The clubhouse is a spacious facility with views of the course and driving range. The clubhouse is licensed and has a variety of menu items, as well as offering rentals and a pro-shop. The nine hole course is described as challenging, but rewarding. Men's yardage totals is 2,843 and women's total yardage is 2,701. Various Men’s and Woman’s nights are held throughout the season, along with many tournaments.

Curling

The Curling Rink is located on Birk Street, just South of the Community Centre. The
Curling Club is currently not operating for the 2024-2025 Season.
